3462073 - Different Discount List Selections Fetching the Same Discount Lists

Two or more Discount List selections created with different Item Pricing Tables show the same Discount Lists when used.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Product and Service Portfolio work center.
2. Open the Discount Lists view.
3. Use Selection ABC (Where ABC Represents one of the Selections created).
4. A list of Discount Lists is displayed.
5. Now, change the Selection to DEF (Where DEF Represents a different Selection).

The same list of Discount Lists is displayed.

This happens when two or more Pricing Group Assignments use the same Header Pricing Table but different Item Pricing Tables. This can be checked as follows: 

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation Project view.
3. Select the Implementation project and click on Open Activity.
4. In the Fine Tune tab select the activity Configure Price Strategy and click on Open.
5. Select the Pricing Group Assignments hyperlink.

One or more Discount Lists will have the same Header Pricing Tables (But different Item Pricing Tables).

Using the same Header Pricing Table in this way is not supported and will lead to duplication issues. 

Please ensure that Header Pricing Tables are not used between two or more Discount Lists.
