3462751 - Error message FAA_MD122 - 'Please change account assignment objects in new time intervals' appears when changing the cost center - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

When changing the cost center in manage fixed assets app, the error message FAA_MD122 - 'Please change account assignment objects in new time intervals' appears.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Open Manage Fixed Assets app.

2. Click 'Edit' button.

3. Try to change the existing cost center.

4. The system reports error: Please change account assignment objects in new time intervals

Cost center changes can only be made before an asset is capitalized, when only master data is created. Once an asset has acquisitions, those account objects will be included in asset reporting. Modifying them within an existing time period would cause inconsistencies between the master data and reporting.

Create new time intervals and make changes in the new time interval. The time interval must start after the latest posting on the Asset.
