3462879 - My Inbox load terminated with ERROR_MSG_NO_METADATA and RFC Error: Name or password is incorrect

Symptom

  •  When trying to launch Fiori My Inbox application, the below error is shown:

Error occurred while loading data. Please contact your system administrator.
ERROR_MSG_NO_METADATA
ERROR_DETAIL_NO_METADATA.

AND

  • RFC Error: Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon) error message is displayed in /IWFND/ERROR_LOG transaction (Gateway Error Log).
