3463002 - The promoted product is not shown in the top of the product list

Symptom

The article aims to explain why the newly promoted product is not shown at the top of the product list. For example:

We promote a new product(PowerShot A480) for the Category(Canon) of the search Profile(canonLoverElectronics), then Synchronize the Category Aware Search Profile(canonLoverElectronicsSelect). Go to the storefront and choose the Brand >> Canon, the product(PowerShot A480) is not shown at the top of the list.
