3463122 - PY-BE: Important announcement over customer namespace for processing classes

Note – Customer namespace reservation for processing classes

For table Valid Processing Classes (T52D1) the following namespace 9* has been reserved for all customers. This means the 10 processing classes 90 up to 99 are reserved for customers only, SAP will not use any of these processing classes. Customers can check the existing name space reservations with report Customer Namespace Reservations for Tables/Views (RDDKOR54). If a customer would define a processing class in the name space of SAP, message SV(019) ‘Select a key from the allowed namespace’ is raised.

However, in the past, when the Payroll Localization for Belgium has been created, an alternative mechanism was in place to reserve name ranges for processing and evaluation classes via table Name Range for Processing and Evaluation Classes (T52DN). This mechanism has not been in place anymore since e.g. SAP Note 1177281 was released 15 years ago. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to explain why entries for Belgium (MOLGA = 12) were created in that table. The erroneously reserved processing classes for customers are 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88 & 89. No documentation of these findings exists. 

Checking the existing processing classes shows that:

• 75 Pensioners : Special SI contribution (Employer's Contribution)
• 76 Pensioners : Capital built by ER or EE (before/from 1993 onwards)
• 77 Pensioners : SII, Solidarity contribution(Employee's Contributions)
• 78 Educational leave : wage calculation
• 79 Transferring Overruling Tax and Tax Base Wage Types, Rule B052
• 80 Holiday Pay
• 81 SI cumuls for structural reduction
• 82 Nature of Dismissal and Specific payments
• 83 Creating Tax Bases for Exceptional Payments, Rule B053
• 84 Complementary Indemnity Payments

are used for many years by SAP.

For the future maintenance of the Payroll Belgium all remaining processing classes, reserved in table T52D1 for SAP, processing classes 01 to 89, are necessary.

We expect that none of the processing classes 73, 74, 85, 86, 87, 88 & 89 are currently used by any customer for Belgium (MOLGA = 12).
