Symptom

An IBP attribute had its length changed

Ci-DS dataflow which extracts data from IBP source calculation scenario fails. The error message 

  • in the corresponding IBP application log entry is:
    'Field <ATTRIBUTE> is too short. Please reload table definition from IBP'.

  • in the CI-DS task's History, Error log is:
    '2024-01-01 00:00:00       (R)(8436:7200)     R3C-150417      |Data flow <>
                                           RFC function call failed: <E: MESSAGE - Field <ATTRIBUTE> is too short. Please reload table definition from IBP.
                                           E: MESSAGE - An error occurred. Please refer to the logs of batch <>...>'
