3463259 - CDS Views for Sales Document Flow in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition

A requirement exists to access CD views for analyzing and tracking sales document flow in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

1. Navigate to app "View Browser".
2. Search for CDS views related to sales document flow in the application component SD-SLS (Sales and Distribution - Sales).
3. Observe that only specific CDS views are available for document flow analysis.

• Sales document flow is managed through standard CDS views in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Unlike SAP S/4HANA On-Premise, where custom CDS views can be created, Public Cloud restricts direct development and modification.
• The available predefined standard CDS views must be leveraged for sales document flow analysis.

In SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, the following two standard CDS views are available for sales document flow analysis:

1. I_SDDocumentProcessFlow

• Provides document flow information for sales and related documents.
• Used for tracing relationships between sales orders, deliveries, and invoices.

2. I_SDDocumentMultiLevelProcFlow

• Provides a multi-level document flow, enabling a hierarchical view of document relationships.
• Useful for complex order-to-cash scenarios where multiple documents are linked.
