Symptom

  • You are trying to configure a HDI container with a container-specific configuration parameter and when executing
    call MY_CONTAINER#DI.CONFIGURE_CONTAINER_PARAMETERS(MY_CONFIG_PARAMETERS, MY_PARAMETERS, ?, ?, ?);
    it fails with error: SAP DBTech JDBC: [258]: insufficient privilege: Detailed info for this error can be found with guid '<your GUID>' 

  • With the guid, you find the user is missing the execute privilege on object CONFIGURE_CONTAINER_PARAMETERS within your HDI container's schema.
