3463527 - Production order is not displayed in the "Process Flow" of the "Manage Sales Quotations - Version 2" app

The production order is not displayed in the "Process Flow" of the "Manage Sales Quotations - Version 2" app (or the previous "Manage Sales Quotations" app) if the referenced sales order of this production order is created with reference to a sales quotation.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Create a sales quotation in the "Manage Sales Quotations - Version 2" app and note down the ID of the sales quotation.
2. Click "Create Subsequent Order" to create a follow-up sales order from the sales quotation. Note down the ID of the sales order.
3. Open the "Monitor External Requirements - New Version" app. Find the requirement generated from the sales order. Tick the checkbox of the requirement and click "Manage Items". Select the requirement and click on "Start MRP Run". A new planned order will be created and displayed in the tab "STOCK/REQUIREMENTLIST".
4. Click the drop-down list of the "Actions" column of the newly created planned order. Click on the action "Convert" to create a new production order. The planned order will be converted to a production order.
5. Go back to the "Manage Sales Quotations - Version 2" app and check the "Process Flow" of the sales quotation created in step 1. The production order is not displayed there. If double checking the "Process Flow" in the "Manage Sales Orders - Version 2" app, the production order is not displayed there, either.
6. As a comparison, open the "Manage Sales Orders - Version 2" app and create a new sales order directly without reference to the sales quotation. Note down the sales order number.
7. Re-execute the above steps 3~4 with the sales order created in step 6.
8. Check the "Process Flow" of the new sales order in the "Manage Sales Orders - Version 2" app. The production order is displayed as a follow-up process of the sales order.

Based on the current product design, production order is not available in the "Process Flow" of the "Manage Sales Quotations - Version 2" app (and the previous "Manage Sales Quotations" app).

According to the "Cause" part, the suggestion is to raise an enhancement request where the Product Management team will look into the feasibility of adding new functionalities and make changes based on the feasibility and number of votes received.
