3463957 - Error "Adhoc internal error while loading SDS [recruitingV2Security]" - SFAPI

Symptom

When calling Adhoc SFAPI, the error below is being returned:

"[SFAPI Domain Error!] Error Code=[ADHOC_INTERNAL_ERROR] Error Message=[Adhoc internal error while loading SDS [recruitingV2Security]"

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM
    • SFAPI

Cause

When looking at the SF backend logs (only available to SAP Support), this additional error message is seen:

"'ReportSchemaConfigEntity' definition not found in MDF datamodel. Either the 'ReportSchemaConfigEntity' definition is invalid or Corresponding module is not enabled."

So the error is occurring due to this MDF object, ReportSchemaConfigEntity, being missed in the SF instance.

Resolution

When MDF is enabled in an instance, ReportSchemaConfigEntity should be created along with other MDF objects. So something have occurred causing it to be corrupted.

Refreshing the MDF objects through the provisioning will solve the issue. More details in the KBA 2974402 - Report Object Configuration Entity and Report Schema Configuration Entity Missing under Manage Data - Story People Analytics.
