3463981 - Value of Z-attributes enhanced in data model MM cannot be saved to backend after upgrade to S/4 HANA 2023

The MDG data model includes custom Z-attributes that worked properly on S/4 HANA 2022 or older releases (for more information about enhancing the data model see also this guide). However, after upgrading to S/4 HANA 2023, the value of custom attributes is not saved to the backend table following Change Request activation, despite being saved to the staging table. In the MDG Data Model, custom attributes are essential for custom Z-fields in the backend table, as well as for standard fields that are not yet supported in MDG, such as new enhancements, industry fields, fields with a business function switch, etc.
