3464200 - Error 622 after performing an upgrade - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Recent upgrade from 15.7 to 16.0.
  • Remove timestamps and extraneous information from error messages. Connection and server names must be generic.
  • The feature "row level access" is enabled.
  • Accessing an object that has a user defined function attached to the access rule results in a 622 error:
    Opentable was passed a varno of 0. Object '<object_name>' in database '<db_name>' already has that session descriptor in use. This occurred while opening object id xxxxx in database id xx.
