3464561 - Apply Rule for Simulation error "An error occurred. Please create an incident on component FI-GL-GL-A" - S/4HANA Cloud

Create your own processing rule via App "Manage Processing Rules - For Bank Statements". The manual apply of the rule in App "Reprocess Bank Statement Items" is failed. In the Job Log the error message is "An error occurred. Please create an incident on component FI-GL-GL-A."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Enter App "Reprocess Bank Statement Items".
2. Select Bank Statement Item and 'Apply Manual Rule'.
3. In the pop up window select 'Apply Rule Only to the 1 Item Selected' and select your processing rule.
4. Select 'Apply Rule for Simulation'.
5. In the Application Job the status of the process is Failed.
6. In the Job Log you can see the error "An error occurred. Please create an incident on component FI-GL-GL-A."

'Activate Additional Condition' is selected when processing rule is created. The values of additional conditions can only be regular expressions. When the Conditions are created in "Manage Processing Rules for Bank Statements" App, irregular expressions are used, that are not accepted by the system. The specified regular expression is invalid.
