3464734 - SAP Cloud for Customer – Outlook Server Side Sort Parameters


The sorting of search results in Outlook Server Side is achieved by utilizing the ascending order of the code ID associated with the selected field. e.g.:

If the user selects the object field "role" in groupware settings, after perform a search for "role" in the Outlook Server Side, the system will sort the results by ascending order of the code ID of the field.

Reproducing the Issue

1- Go to E-mail Integration Work Center.

2- Go to groupware settings.

3- Access Profiles.

4- Open a profile and go to Add-in settings.

5- Select the card of the desired object, e.g: "Account".

6- Go to settings inside the card.

7- Select to Sort by the desired code field.

8- Go to outlook Server Side and try to make a search by the field.

(the sort logic that will show the results by system behavior is determined in ascending order by the code ID of the field)


 Currently, the Outlook Server Side search function searches only by the code ID of the selected field, in ascending order.


This is the expected system behavior for sort the results from searches in Outlook Server Side.
