Error "Reset company code data before changing the chart of accounts" message no. FC140 is raised when trying to change the chart of accounts.

S/4HANA Cloud comes with a pre-delivered operating chart of accounts (YCOA). It is not recommended to change the chart of accounts and we highly suggest to assign the custom chart of accounts as an alternative chart of accounts.

If there is a need to allocate a different chart of accounts to the company code, first of all reset the company code specific data for the old chart of accounts.
