3465072 - Error: "Total duration of all recorded times exceeds 24 hrs" when Approving or Releasing Times

When approving Times you receive the error "Total duration of all recorded times exceeds 24 hrs" despite there being less than 24 hrs recorded.

2. Employees
3. Search for the affected Employee
4. Approve or Release hours 
5. System gives Error: Total duration of all recorded times exceeds 24 hrs

This can be caused by the interaction between Duration Based Time Recording (maintaining the number of hours, as opposed to a Start and End Time) and Core Hours Time. 

Duration based Time Entries will never be considered to overlap with any Core Hours maintained in the Time Model.

E.g.:  If Core Hours are maintained between 10:00-14:00, only 20 hours will be available to book with Duration Based Time Recordings. 

Recommendation from Support is to avoid Core Hours/Flex Time when using Duration based Time Recording.
