3465142 - Sync error during document attachment to notification - "Link to SAP object SMQMEL is not permitted for document type ###" - SAP Service and Asset Manager

Symptom

  • When adding a document to a maintenance order/notification the request to the backend is getting sent with the wrong object type, so in the backend the attachment is not showing up in the related maintenance order/notification. The request is being sent as a service order/notification instead of maintenance order/notification.
  • sync error: "Business error: Type =E ID =26 No. =288 Message =Link to SAP object SMQMEL is not permitted for document type ###"
