3465505 - Error "while trying to invoke the method...of an object loaded from local variable 'this' (Error: INF WIS 00000)" when refreshing a WEBI document based on BW connection

Symptom

  • Below error appears when refreshing a webi document, based on a BW query: 
     
    "while trying to invoke the method com.sap.ip.bi.bics.dataaccess.provider.metadata.optional.IProviderMdHierarchy.getHierarchyName() of a null object loaded from field com.sap.ip.bi.bics.dataaccess.consumer.impl.selector.hierarchy.MdHierarchy.providerMdHierarchy of an object loaded from local variable 'this' (Error: INF WIS 00000)"

  • The issue started to occur after the upgrade of the BW version from BW 740 to BW 750.
