Can we disable "My Team Position" Tab?

Environment

SuccessFactors Employee Central : Position Management 

Resolution

This is a new universal feature introduced in the 1H2024 Release. The tab ‘My Team Positions’ is always displayed in Company Info, if the user is a manager having lower-level positions.  Please note, that this page only displays data in accordance with user's permissions.

  • What if You need time to implement the same?
    • Disable the ‘Manage Team Positions’ Quick Action via Manage Home Page – Quick Actions for your managers to avoid a direct navigation option from the Home Page to the new ‘My Team Positions’ page
    • If you do not give permission to Position quick action template system will show only view position in org chart action. It will not have any other impact.
  • If the user has no permission to access the lower-level positions, no data will be displayed in the ‘My Team position’ page, but a message is shown ‘Sorry, no positions were found’ and further details about the potential reasons.
  • If the quick actions templates are not configured or not permissioned for the user, those actions are not available for lower-level positions displayed in the ‘My Team Positions’ page.
  • If the user has no permission to access the position org chart the ‘View in Position Org Chart’ action is not available for lower-level positions displayed in the ‘My Team Positions’ page
