3465767 - Manage Languages error "Make sure that the file has two columns"

Symptom

Receiving the error below when trying to import a custom language pack:

"Make sure that the file has two columns; "Key" is the header of the first column and the locale code is that of the second column; and the headers are in the first row."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Cause

Encoding of file is set to UTF-8-BOM.

Resolution

Please open you file in Notepad++ and ensure the encoding is set to UTF-8.

Also, ensure the columns are separated by comma, and only two columns exist based on the default language pack downloaded.
