How to bypass section 2 and 3 of the I-9 Reverification if an employee is authorized to work while USCIS processes their petition?

The document number for the reverification has not been issued yet, because it's pending the extension. It will not be issued for now, but person is still getting these notifications for reverification.

According to 7.7 Extensions of Stay for Other Nonimmigrant Categories | USCIS  "If USCIS approves the petition for an extension of stay, you will receive Form I-797 that includes an expiration date and an attached Form I-94. Enter the document title, number, and expiration date using Supplement B: Reverification and Rehire of Form I-9. You must give your employee the Form I-94, which is evidence of their employment-authorized nonimmigrant status.", but in Onboarding SuccessFactors, none of these documents are available yet.

Since there is not a place in the system to only add comments without providing the extension date, please consider printing the original I-9, adding the "Additional Comments" section of the I9 and uploading back into Document Center.
