Symptom
On testing the new enhancement TIM-41237 Time Off Enhancements in the New People Profile, the Out-of-office information is not shown in:
- Profile Preview
- Spotlight
- Org Chart
- Position Org chart quick cards etc.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off
Reproducing the Issue
- In Company System and Logo Settings, "Enable the latest People Profile" is enabled.
- Search for an employee who had time off as of today.
- The Out-of-office information is not displayed in
- Profile Preview
- Spotlight
- Org Chart
- Position Org chart Quick card etc.
Cause
The feature is currently not available if you are using Time Off for Leave of Absence (LOA) only.
Resolution
- In Admin Center -> Manage Employee Central Settings if both "Time Off" & "Time Off for Leave of Absence Only" are enabled, then it's a Leave of absence(LOA) only instance.
- For LOA only instance, the Out-of-office information is currently not displayed even if latest People Profile is enabled.
- This is as per design, because the Out-of-office information feature requires 'Work Schedule' and 'Holiday calendar' information. For LOA only instance(s), employees do not have 'Work Schedule' or 'Holiday calendar'.
- It is planned to be enhanced with enhancement ticket number TIM-45436, but dates are not confirmed. Please reach out to your CSM/CEE to track the progress of the enhancement.
