3466161 - Unable to delete system/service due to Notification Management and Alert Management Use Case Configuration Status

Symptom

One of the prerequisites to delete a system/service is that all the use cases are set to "Not configured" (As specified in KBA 3248215 - How to delete Service/Systems in SAP Cloud ALM).

However, the following situations can be found regarding Notification Management and Alert Management use cases :

  • Notification Management and/or Alert Management Use Cases show status "Inactive" due to which the system/service cannot be deleted.
  • Or Use Cases Alert Management and Notification Management remain with status "Active" despite of other use cases show status "Not Configured"
