3466181 - 1H 2024 - Alternative Text not working for custom cards as part of WEF-133817

Symptom

  • As part of 1H 2024 release feature WEF-133817, Alternative Text is not working for custom cards under Organizational Updates.
  • Alternative Text works for Home Page Banner image but not for custom cards configured in Manage Home Page.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  • Access the system
  • Go back to Home Page
  • On Organizational Updates section
  • No alternative text is shown for custom card

Cause

This is currently an ongoing issue within the feature.

Resolution

Our Engineering team have worked on a fix to be delivered as part of 2H 2024 release.
