3466284 - Unable to Access BI Launchpad After Enabling HTTPS/SSL


The below symptoms are seen when trying to login in BI Launchpad after enabling HTTPS/SSL:

  • Hanging / freezing / not responding after login;
  • A blank screen with three blue dots are displayed indicating that the page is loading, but no further response is seen:



  • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.2 - 4.3 SP02;
  • After 4.3 SP02 a change was made to the way BI url is accessed. For more info, check the "See Also" section.
