Error "Confirmation not possible; posting on DD.MM.YY blocked by accounting " occurs when doing business which would create a Good and Activity Confirmation(GAC), like releasing an outbound delivery, creating inventory adjustment, etc.

Business Process Group 06 - Goods and Service confirmation is blocked for the mentioned period DD.MM.YY.

1. Go to General Ledger Work Center.
2. Choose Open and Close Periods in Common Task.
3. Select the line of the period which matches the company and the set of book for your business.

In details, you would find that 06 - Goods and Service confirmation is blocked.

Since this Business process group covers the business of GACs, it's system expected that the error occurs while doing any business that generates a GAC.

To resolve this, you can unblock or remove this block as per below steps:

1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
2. Select sub-view Master Data under Companies view.
3. Select the relevant company.
4. Choose Set Process control button.
5. Select the line for Business Process Group: Goods and Services Confirmation.
6. Change Process Control Status to Not Blocked/ Choose Remove button.
7. Choose Save and Close button.

After this, the error wouldn't occur while doing business.
