3466808 - You Cannot Release Customer Demand, Because Available Stock is Zero, But Stock Overview is Showing There is Stock

Sales Order cannot be released due to an Order Item showing as unavailable in Planning, despite there being Warehouse Stock in the Inventory.

1. Navigate to the Supply Planning work center.
2. Go to the Customer Demand view.
3. Find the relevant Sales Order and select the affected Order Item.
4. Click Open Product Planning Details to open the relevant Product Planning Details: ABC/XYZ/PLA (ABC represents the Product ID, XYZ represents the Product Requirement Specification ID and PLA represents the Supply Planning Area ID).
5. Observe that the Available Quantity is showing as 0 ea.
6. Check the On-Hand Stock in Stock Overview for the Product, and note that there is actually Stock available.

The issue arises because there is zero On-Hand Quantity of the Product ID: ABC with the Product Specification ID: XYZ and in the Supply planning area ID: PLA.
The system returned results without Specification because you searched the Product without the Product Specification.
The On-Hand Inventory Stock shown in the Stock Overview report does not meet the requirement as the Quantities are not specified, which is why the system is not considering them for the Order.

1. The system is working as designed. If you check the Sales Order, you can see you have maintained the Specification XYZ at the Sales Order Item.
2. Ensure the correct Stock is available to release the Demand.
