3466869 - Diagnostic Tool Date Range we are unable to select current date 1H 2024

Symptom

  • In the Diagnostic Tool landing page, for search field "Date Range" the date picker/calendar current date is greyed out and not available for selection for some users who are in timezone like UTC-4 or PST.
  • This is reproducible when there are timezone large differences For example: when the end user/logged in user timezone is in America/Los Angeles, server time zone is in UTC-4 and system(laptop/PC) timezone is on PST(UTC-8). Users are unable to select current date even after all the timezones, server timezone is on same current date.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Diagnostic Tool
  2. In the Date Range field try to select current date in the date picker.
  3. If your timezone and server timezone are in UTC-4 or UTC-8 etc, you can observe that the current date is greyed out / unavailable for selection.

Resolution
