3467001 - No error message is issued in SHPCON/WHSCON IDOC when there is a batch mismatch with that in the delivery - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • The SHPCON/WHSCON IDOC contains a batch that differs from the batch in the delivery, but no error is issued during the IDOC processing. 
  • You are expecting an error message (e.g. like VL206 when manually changing batch in VL02N) would be raised in SHPCON/WHSCON IDOC when there is a batch mismatch.
