Symptom

  • While starting up replication server, below errors appear in SRS errorlog:

    FATAL ERROR #1030 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - eneric\err\errhand.c(1273)
        Open Server error: Error: 16029, State: 0, Severity 20 -- 'Failed to start any network listeners'.
     (-1): Exiting due to a fatal error.
    --------------------------------
  • no stack trace or core dump generated
  • Note: if any stack trace, errors or core dump message is generated along with the server startup messages, this KB might not be applicable to those scenarios.
