3467320 - Delete a created purchase order document type

Unable to delete the custom purchase order document type.

When you copy the document type initially, it is possible to only copy the header line and not the dependencies. Afterwards in the sub entities you have the option to 'Create New' and only add particular item categories and follow on document types as required. 

It is not possible to change delivered configuration content and it is not possible to delete custom configuration entered for PO types - Define Document Types for Purchase Orders (SSCUI 102909) or for PR types - Define Document Types for Purchase Requisitions (SSCUI 103385).

You have the following options to stop particular PR/PO document types being used:

• Able to mark the unwanted custom entries as 'Do Not Use'.
• You can restrict usage to certain document types through authorization profiles.
• You use the PR/PO BADI's to make sure no user can process any unwanted document type.

The BADI's for PO are listed below:

• MM_PUR_S4_PO_MODIFY_HEADER
• MM_PUR_S4_PO_MODIFY_ITEM
• BD_MMPUR_FINAL_CHECK_PO
