3467535 - "You can’t add Save Rules to object definition ****" when adding save rule to Time Sheet configuration object definitions

Symptom

Error message "You can’t add Save Rules to object definition **** " is popped up when trying to add save rule to Time Sheet configuration object definitions as of 2405 release. 

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet
  • SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

Resolution

This is restricted as of 2405 release for the time sheet configuration objects listed below. 
For configuration objects, it does not make sense to add save rules, because these objects should only be managed by administrators who know how the configurations should be done without the necessity to be restricted with rules.
