2. Select the job template Bank Account Balance Initialization.
3. Enter the respective Parameters.
4. Schedule the job.
5. Error 'Cannot update balance for bank account XXXX due to transfer mode setting.' occurs

The bank account cannot be processed for balance initialization because its transfer mode setting is set as Bank Statement Items Only or No Update for Cash Management. With these settings, the system cannot update the balance for this bank account.

Balance initialization can only be performed for bank accounts for which the transfer mode is defined as Balance Only or Balance and Bank Statement Items. The transfer mode for the respective bank accounts can be changed in app Define Bank Account Settings - Bank Statements by choosing the Enable Specific Settings button.
