3468122 - Unable to view custom analytical query from S/4HANA into SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Custom analytical queries created in SAP S/4HANA are not visible in SAC

SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD 2024.2.21 

Connection: Import

Data source: S/4HANA 

1. Publish the custom analytical queries in S/4HANA to expose it to SAC.
2. Login to SAP Analytics Cloud.
3. Configure a import connection to S/4HANA in SAC.
   
4. Create a new import S/4HANA model.
5. Notice that CDS custom analytical queries do not appear in SAC

Import connection to S/4HANA used.

SAP Analytics Cloud does not consume CDS views from SAP S/4HANA, it consumes OData services only. To consume CDS-based analytical queries in SAC, you can use a live connection to SAP S/4HANA rather than an import data connection.
