3468385 - Connecting to S/4 Hana OnPrem extractor results in no columns displaying

Symptom

When trying to extract table 'eban' from our S/4 Hana system, the database connection shows green, but no tables appear in Signavio.  Please let us know how to display the column fieds for this particular table.

Resolution

In using the SAP HANA connector, make sure you have allowed outbound communication to your region (refer to: https://help.sap.com/docs/signavio-process-intelligence/user-guide/regions-ip-addresses-and-urls?locale=en-US)

If the outbound ip addresses are set correctly, and you're still having extraction issues, check the following:

  • Confirm whether you have proper HANA authorization, and able to query data on this table outside Signavio. This will tell us whether there's data to be extracted, and your SAP HANA permissions are valid.
  • If that doesn't resolve the issue, then it could be the result of running two on-prem extractors in parallel. Please completely delete the old extractor, and try the extraction again.
  • If the tables from your connection, are still not being displayed in Signavio, then provide Support with the on-prem extractor logs located within your local '..$ETL_TMP_DIR/logs' folder, for further analysis.
