3468966 - Workaround for Outbound Replication Using the BYD Certificate Outbound Replication – ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR

Symptom

From 14th May you are experiencing error "ICF Error when receiving the response: ICM_HTTP_SSL_ERROR"  outbound replication using the BYD Certificate 

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Resolution

For some customers, it may be possible to Use Basic Authentication for outbound replication.

In CPI add credentials:

  1. Connect to the tenant management node of the SAP CPI system.
  2. Go to the Monitor tab, then Click on Security Material under Manage Security.
  3. Add user details.

In C4C update the Communication arrangement to use Basic authentication outbound:

  1. Administrator > General Settings > Select the relevant communication arrangement and click Edit.
  2. Select technical data > for outbound communication select Authentication method Username and Password.
  3. Edit the user Credentials.
  4. Save and reactivate Communication arrangement.

Update and redeploy iFlows in CPI.
