3469120 - Unable to remove value in Gross Weight in product master data

It is impossible to remove value in Gross Weight in product master data. When trying to delete/remove the value, the following error occurs.

Error: 'Gross weight UoM factor for UoM pieces must be greater than zero'.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Product Data -> Materials.
2. Select any material and click Edit.
3. Under General tab, remove the value from field Gross Weight.
4. Error occurs.

It is the designed system behavior that if an unit is maintained, the value must be greater than zero.

It is possible to remove the unit first and then remove the value by following steps.

1. Click View All.
2. Go to General -> UoM Characteristics.
3. Remove the unit.
4. Remove the value.
5. Click Save.
