3469152 - picklist label did not reflect on job information field

We added a new picklist version which aims to change the label for for one of the picklists whose effective date is a future date.

But when that day reaches, the label is not reflecting on Job Information even we can see the changed label from drop-down.

1.On May 1st, create new version picklist whose effective date is May 9th, 2024, and we change one of the picklist's label from Salaried staff_May to Salaried staff_0509.

2.When effective date comes to 9th May, we did not see the label change in Job Information UI even at 12th May, and it takes few days to reflect the new label.

This is due to cache issue.

1.Picklists that are configured outside MDF are not effective dated, for example, JobInformation. In such picklists, when they have multiple versions, the current date is considered as the effective date. This behavior is similar to the picklist in MDF objects that have effective dating set as None.

2.Due to cache issue, picklist label is not reflecting on Job Information.

1)The way to manually trigger the sync/change is to modify the new picklist parameter, for example, to cause minimum side effect, you can add the translations for different languages. 

2)As picklist outside MDF is not effective dated, please do not add picklist version as future dated, you can just add the version's effective date as Today or Past Day.
