3469188 - Metric Lookup Table Rating Scale Dropdown Showing as Read-Only When Write Permission is Not Granted

The metric-lookup table rating scale shows up as a read-only field when no “write” permission is provided for any of the metric-lookup table columns in Latest Goals.

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

1. In the Goal Plan Template XML, provide "write" permission to the users for "metric-lookup-table".
2. Then restrict any of the "metric-lookup-table" column fields with "read" permissions.
   
3. Cross check in the Goal Plan Template and you should be able to view only a read-only Metric Lookup Table scale dropdown

This is an expected behavior for Latest Goals. In legacy, the rating scale visibility/permissions are not consistent among different Metric Lookup Tables (built-in, custom MLTs, etc). In Latest Goals, this behavior has been changed so MLT rating scales now follow the same logic as below: 

As of 1H 2024 release, this is the expected behavior of the metric lookup table dropdown. When any of the columns of the metric lookup table are made read-only, the rating scale dropdown also becomes read-only.
