3469556 - System Picking The Wrong Released Planning Model While Creating New Planning Proposal

Symptom

System assigns wrong Production Model when a production proposal is created.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the Supply Planning work center. 
  2. Go to Common Tasks and select New Planning Proposal. 
  3. Enter Product ID, Planning Area ID, Quantity and Availability Date.
  4. You expect the System to propose the Source of Supply ID ABC, but it is proposing Source of Supply XYZ (ABC and XYZ represent the Source of Supply ID).

Cause

There are many reasons why the system could behave this way.
