3469573 - Solution Manager sync behavior in multilanguage Signavio tenants


What is the current behavior, when synchronizing between Signavio and Solution Manger regarding the language setup? What are the points, we need to check and adjust?


SAP Solution Manager:

  • If SolMan Solution content language doesn't have English (EN) included in the 'Content Languages' selection, then synchronization fails.
  • English is a must-have language for Solution Manager content. It does not need to be the primary language.

SAP Signavio Process Manager:

  • English is the language that has to be setup in the Signavio "User Profile" settings for the Signavio API user (user that's defined in the Connected Systems in the BPMC connector).
  • If the synchronization user's language in Signavio is not English, the synchronization runs without errors, but data loses could be expected.
  • If the default/main language of a workspace is different from English, every task element has to have name and description in the default workspace language.
  • Only Signavio's workspace main language will be synced to Solution Manager. Items not having names/descriptions in the main languages will cause errors during the synchronization.
  • Same behavior as in case of tasks is expected in case of synchronization of attribute values. Only main language will be synchronized.
  • Inconsistencies in attribute values can be avoided when the Signavio attributes set up in the synchronization are not enabled for multiple languages.
