3469577 - Input Control does not display all dimensions list by default in Optimized Design Experience (ODE) story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Input Control does not display all dimensions list by default in view mode.
• Only after clicking on Show More, all options are displayed.

SAP Analytics Cloud Entreprise (2024.2.21)

1. Login to SAC.
2. Open an ODE story in edit mode.
3. Add Dimension Input control to a chart, selecting "All Dimensions".
4. Switch to view mode.
5. Notice that only one option is displayed in the Input control.
6. Only after clicking Show More, all values are displayed.

It is a by design behaviour for performance purposes.

To avoid a query for all the dimensions and thus a slowdown on the story loading, the design is to have the user select Show More to show the rest of the dimensions.

As a workaround:

• Click on Edit Input Control
• Unselect one of the options.
• Re-select it (without clicking on "All Dimensions").
• Click on Ok.
• Switch to View mode.
• All values will be displayed.
