3469663 - Message "Error: Property not found" when changing value of extension field of opportunity in Guided Selling

You are working with opportunities in guided selling. When changing the value of an extension field you are facing the error message above.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center view.
2. Open the Guided Selling view.
3. Search for opportunity ID ABC (where ABC is the ID of an opportunity).
4. Click in the >> icon in upper left corner to expand view.
5. Look for field DEF (where DEF is an extension field)
6. Click in the pencil icon to the side of DEF and select GHI (where GHI is a different value).
7. Message "Error: Property DEF not found" appears.

In your extension field definition, in the OData services tab, you did not flag the 'opportunity' OData service.

Your extension field DEF needs OData from opportunities to work properly in Guided Selling.

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Open the Opportunities view.
3. Open opportunity ABC.
4. Click in the profile menu and select start adaptation.
5. Right click in the section where extension field is.
6. Right click in the field and select 'edit' button OR navigate in the field list and click in the > button to select it and click edit (in case it is not visible).
7. Go to the OData Services view.
8. Click in the edit button.
9. Click in the + icon in the line with 'opportunity'.
10. Click in the Save button.
