3469667 - EWM: How to create and assign a variant in the tcode /scwm/mon

Symptom

If you frequently access certain queries, you can create variant nodes for them. These nodes consist of a specific set of selection criteria and can have a predefined layout for the ALV list view. It is also possible to have a combination of both.

  • ALV layout variants can be defined and used at the user level. These variants can be utilized in monitor nodes that are exclusively visible to the user who created them.
  • ALV layout variants can be defined for all users. These variants can be used by all users and in monitors available for general usage.
