Error on adding/replacing attachment for Background Element on people profile header > Finish Your Profile. Error message: "You do not have permission to edit the value. Please contact your system administrator."

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Employee Profile

1. Navigate to My People profile.
2. On people profile header > Click on “Finish Your Profile”.
3. Click on Background element: “A”.
4. Remove and Add attachment for existing record.
5. Click Save.
6. Error is shown.
   
   

• Our engineering team are planning to fix this issue with 2H 2024 release, until then please follow below workaround. 
• Workaround: Navigate to respective background element on people profile and use Edit pencil icon to add or re attach the attachment successfully.
