Symptom
After the goal has been cascaded to Employee and when Employee clicks on Aligned up option from goal details page, below error appears:
"Goal data not available". (This is due to Employee doesn't have access to view manager's goal) This error opens in another tab.
Click on the Employee name again in same tab and click on the same goal, instead of opening goal details page , the error shows up.

Reproducing the Issue
1. Login to customer instance and proxy as Employee to whom the goal has been cascaded
2. Navigate to Goals tab from drop down of the home screen
3. Open the goal plan and open the cascaded goal and click on “Aligned up”
5. Error shows up as "Goal data not available" in another tab which is expected to show when Employee doesn't have access to view managers goal
6. Now in the same screen click on Employee name and select the same goal, instead of goal details it shows the same error.
Resolution
This is a known issue.
