3470193 - User type "External Learner" is not available for selection when creating permission roles

When I create a permission role, the option External Learner should be available for selection. My SuccessFactors instance is integrated with Learning, but External Learner option is not displayed.

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles
2. Choose Create
3. The field User Type does not display the option External Learner

You do not use the Integrated External Learner feature in your SuccessFactors instance.

The prerequisites to create a permission role for External Learners are:

1. Role Based Permissions (RB) must be enabled
2. Enable External Learning User is selected in Provisioning

Implementations of the Integrated External Learner feature are no longer supported and should not be pursued by customers/partners. The option to create roles for External Learners is available only for customers who implemented Integrated External Learner in the past and are still using this solution.

The new recommended method of authentication for External Learners is to use the SAP Cloud Platform Identity Authentication Service, which does not require the external users to exist in BizX:
