3470233 - Error "Unable to process your export request" in Configuration Transport Center

Symptom

When attempting to export a bundle in Configuration Transport Center, you receive the following error message:

Unable to process your export request for 1 configurations due to the following errors:
null: The configuration is not enabled in your tenant. Ensure you have the required permission.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Search for Configuration Transport Center tool
  2. This will open the Instance Management page
  3. Select Copy Configuration (Configuration Transport Center)
  4. Navigate to Bundle Management
  5. Create new Bundle
  6. Try to initiate the export as per Exporting SAP SuccessFactors Application Configurations Using Configuration Transport Center | SAP Help Portal

Cause

The issue is caused by missing role-based permissions.

Resolution

Before using the Configuration Transport Center, make sure all required permissions are assigned. You can find the full list in Prerequisites for Using Configuration Transport Center | SAP Help Portal 
 
Common Scenario: Permission Error During Transport
 
If you try to transport Workflow Configurations and see the following error:

"Unable to process your export request for 1 configurations… The configuration is not enabled in your tenant. Ensure you have the required permission."

This usually means a required permission is missing.

Make sure the user performing the transport has the following permission:

  • Administrator Permissions → Manage Foundation Objects → Transport Legacy Foundation Data

This permission is often required specifically for Workflow Configurations.
