Symptom

These are the known issues/limitation in the Time Forms feature and their fix timelines.

Environment

Resolution

  • The Known Issues in Time Forms feature are mentioned in the handbook: Known Issue: Time Forms
  • The below table provides the planned enhancement/fix releases for each of the items.

Templates with the category Absence Forms will not appear in Manage Permission Roles under Manage Time Form Templates permissions or an error occurs stating "Assertion failed: permission list is empty" when clicking on Manage Time Form Templates in Manage Permission Roles.

You can choose one of the manual workarounds below:

  • After creating a Time Form template, create a dummy document generation template of category Document Generation. This will refresh the RBP immediately, and the absence form template will appear in Manage Permission Role and then the dummy template can be deleted.
  • If you have access to provisioning, then you can run the Refresh RBP Model job or wait until the daily nightly job runs automatically for the Time Form template to appear in Manage Permission Role.

In Time Statement generation, error or warning messages provide detailed descriptions of the issues, but they don't visually highlight the specific problems and their locations with red or other distinct indicators. We are aware of this issue and are working on resolving it.1H 2025 (Planned)
In Time Statement generation, when you change the high contrast settings from the app or BizX application settings (for either white text on a black background or black text on a white background), the text inside input fields, such as dropdown values and dates, becomes invisible. To ensure proper visibility of the text, you need to rectify this issue for both high contrast themes. 1H 2025 (Planned)
In Time Statement generation, the "Time Period" input field has a placeholder text that reads "select a time period". This placeholder text does not specify the date format you should use when selecting a time period. 1H 2025 (Confirmed)
In Time Statement generation, when error or warning messages are generated based on the date selection or other criteria, you can see a red error icon with the count of errors. However, there are no visible text alternatives provided for the messages button. 1H 2025 (Planned)
In Time Statement form, the screen reader does not recognize or read the headings placed just before the tables. This issue causes the reading order to be incorrect and inconsistent. Additionally, the screen reader does not provide table cell value associations for all tables in the PDF format, and it does not read the table data cell by cell. 1H 2025 (Planned)

In Time Statement generation, the resize pointer for resizing the dialogue lacks a single pointer activation mechanism for mouse and touch users. You can resize the dialogue by dragging the resize icon in the top right corner, but you cannot perform the same action with a single pointer action without dragging.  1H 2025 (Planned)
