3470616 - Zoom class "Too Many Requests" error

When attempting to register to a class, the following types of errors may be seen:

• VLS Error: Too Many Requests You have exceeded the daily rate limit for this API. Refer to the response header for details on when you can make another request.
• VLS Error: Too Many Requests You have exceeded the daily rate limit of (3) for meeting Perform batch registration API requests for the registrant ([user email]). You can resume these API requests at GMT 00:00:00.

1. Log into the LMS admin >
2. Search for the class number >
3. Navigate to the registration/agenda tab >
4. Try to register the user OR try to make any changes in the agenda (such as add instructor, change date, location, etc..) >
5. Receive error message. 

As confirmed by Engineering team, the errors ("Too Many Requests You have exceeded the daily rate limit for this API. Refer to the response header for details on when you can make another request" | "Too Many Requests You have exceeded the daily rate limit of (3) for meeting Perform batch registration API requests for the registrant ([user email]). You can resume these API requests at GMT 00:00:00" come from Zoom, and it could be caused by different reasons:

• Enrolling in the meeting more than 40 calls per second across company wide.
• Reaching Zoom's API usage limit, which can temporarily lock access for 24 hours.
• Have other integrations that utilize the Zoom APIs.

Contact Zoom support for further assistance with it. They can provide specific guidance based on the situation and license type. You can also validate on the Zoom dashboard > Discover tab > How many API calls are being done along with the payload that is being sent. The Services > Web logs will need to be checked.
